Dear secondary school principals and teachers,
we would like to offer you a unique opportunity to enrich your students’ education with current and practical topics in the fields of security, defence and crisis preparedness. At the same time, in cooperation with Association of School IT Professionals, NPI and with the support of Digikoalice, we are preparing a professional round table for you with content linked to the Ministry of Education’s Strategy 2030+. The objectives of this panel are focused on digital education, support for teaching staff, strengthening communication with the professional community, and innovation in the field of education.
On 1st October 2026, the DEFENCE AND SECURITY FOR STUDENTS educational programme and the professional round table for school principals and teachers will take place at PVA EXPO PRAHA Letňany as part of the prestigious international Future Forces Exhibiton & Forum, to which we would like to invite you and your school’s students. Everyone can look forward to a day full of experiences, new knowledge and skills, inspiration and practical demonstrations.
The student section of the accompanying professional programme, organised under the auspices of public administration, the armed forces and the country’s emergency services, is designed to present students with the key aspects of our country’s defence and security in an accessible and engaging way.
Main programme topics:
- National defence system: How cooperation between the armed forces and civilian organisations works
- Crisis preparedness: How to respond in emergency situations (natural disasters, security threats)
- Cybersecurity: Protection in the digital environment under the guidance of experts in the Cyber Pavilion
- Příprava občanů k obraně státu (POKOS), vzdělávací projekt Ministerstva obrany ČR zaměřený na branné povědomí obyvatelstva, který studentům srozumitelně přiblíží, jak funguje obrana státu a jak se správně zachovat v krizových situacích
- First-aid preparedness of the population as one of the pillars of societal resilience
- Interactive workshops and crisis situation simulations
- Dynamic demonstrations of the work of security and emergency services
- Inspiring lectures by experts and role models from practice
- An opportunity to take a closer look “behind the scenes” of professions that have a real purpose
