Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Visitors to the Future Forces Exhibition,
It is an honor for me that, for the first time this year, the Prague Municipal Police was able to assume patronage of this important exhibition and participate in it directly. I regard this as a natural step reflecting the transformation of our organization into a modern, open, and technologically advanced institution that also has much to offer in an environment bringing together leading security and defense technologies from around the world.
Next year, the Prague Municipal Police will approach a significant milestone—its 35th anniversary. Over that period, we have become an integral and indispensable pillar of security in the Capital City of Prague. Every day, we safeguard public order and the safety of Prague’s residents and visitors, and we cooperate with a broad range of partners—from the components of the Integrated Rescue System, through municipal and state authorities, to the private sector. This cooperation and openness to new ideas are essential to us.
We therefore welcome and actively support every opportunity to share experience, know-how, and innovative solutions that may contribute to enhancing safety in public spaces. For us, the Future Forces Exhibition is a unique platform from which to draw inspiration, establish new contacts, and present our own perspective on how to participate effectively in protecting the residents of a major city at a time when security threats are constantly evolving and taking new forms.
I trust that this year’s event will bring thought-provoking discussions, inspiring encounters, and a solid foundation for future cooperation, and I wish all exhibitors and visitors a successful and rewarding exhibition.
Ludvík KLEMA
Director of the Prague Municipal Police
