In 2023, Wave Sciences launched its breakthrough Acoustical Focus™ software, which for the first time allows the extraction of target speech from the most challenging recordings, captured in worse-case, real-world conditions, including competing talkers, reverberation, noise, and distance. 

Acoustical Focus is unlike any other existing technology because it allows you to refocus the sound field to enhance sounds originating from a specific location in 3D space, while suppressing all other sounds.  As a result, it can even extract one talker or conversation from the middle of a crowd, ignoring talkers in between, behind, or beside those being targeted. 

This ability enables the collection of useful intelligence in what have up until now been ‘impossible’ situations.
